Back to nature

Werkstatt Engel

Reconnect with Your True Self Embrace the Power of Stillness

EXPERIENCE A DIFFERENT WAY

This retreat is your invitation to pause, reset, and return to the simple, powerful presence of being.

Reconnect with what has always been there

In a world full of noise, pressure, and constant doing, it’s easy to forget who we truly are.  Here, we step away from responsibilities, roles, and expectations — and turn inward.

Step into the Zen & QiGong state of mind during our 3.5-day retreat at Werkstatt Engel in the Allgäu region of Southern Germany — a serene retreat center in Niedersonthofen, surrounded by stunning landscapes and a picturesque lake.

This self-experience-based retreat in traditional Zen & QiGong is guided by Uwe Reichenbach, TaiJi Chuan Wu-Ma instructor from Journey Into Oneself.

Explore the subtle nature of Qi (energy) within yourself and others by developing a deep awareness of Qi flow and learning how to recognize and balance energy gaps.

Each day includes hands-on practice, partner applications, and personal guidance to deepen your skills in Ting-Jing (listening/knowing) and Song Gong (releasing).

Mornings begin with Zen meditation, evenings close with Song meditation, and afternoons are reserved for connecting with nature, joining optional training sessions, or receiving individual energy treatments.

Discover how to dissolve blockages and integrate these qualities into your daily life and (martial) arts practice.

JIO Team

Team JIO

Team JIO are a handful of students who have spent six years or longer in a dedicated practice with Shifu Zuan and have been accepted as his Inner Students. They have been part of an “Assistant Program” for two years and have completed their Instructors Training.

They are building up their own teaching and are invited to take care of private classes, online classes, Team Workshops and Team Retreats in the name of JIO. They take different roles in the organisation and are asked to fulfill tasks based on their skills.

They cultivate the virtues of this teaching and support the ones that join this journey with care and compassion. Guiding by example, from outside in, they are the heart of this teaching.
