1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts for participation in Workshops, Retreats and events offered by Journey Into Oneself Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Provider") and the participants (hereinafter referred to as "Participant").

3. Subject Matter of the Contract

The provider offers in person and/or digital classes, workshops, retreats in the field of self - awareness and  mindfulness through methods such as Taiji and QiGong and Meditation. 

The detailed information such as content, dates and prices are specified for each individual offer on the website and/or in the registration confirmation.

4. Registration and Conclusion of Contract

Registration is carried out online via the Journey Into Oneself website. The contract is concluded after the payment has been made. A registration confirmation and invoice will be sent out. Only then the registration is finalised.

5. Prices and Payment Terms

The stated prices include the applicable statutory VAT unless otherwise indicated. Payment is required in full upon registration and can be made by bank transfer, Wise, PayPal or other offered payment methods.

Our base price is set in euros. Due to constant fluctuations in the exchange rate between the Euro and the Thai Baht, the price in THB may vary slightly.

To ensure fair and up-to-date pricing, we continuously adjust the prices in THB to the exchange rate.

6. Withdrawal and Cancellation by the Customer

The Customer may withdraw from the contract free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the event. For cancellations within 14 days of the start, 50% of the participation fee will be charged. In case of no-show or cancellation within 24 hours of the start, the full amount will be charged. Cancellations must be made in writing by email. in case of emergency cancellation, such as illness, accident of oneself or a family member, a voucher will be issued which can be used for a future offering.

7. Withdrawal and Cancellation by the Provider

The Provider reserves the right to cancel events for important reasons (e.g., illness, insufficient number of participants, force majeure). In such cases, any participation fees already paid will be fully refunded. No further claims can be made.

8. Liability

Participation in the events is at the customer's own risk. The provider is only liable for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty. Liability for health, psychological, or financial consequences is excluded unless gross negligence is involved.

9. Copyright

All materials, texts, audio, or video content provided during the event are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or distributed without express written permission.

10. Data Protection

Customer data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy. This can be accessed on the website.

11. Photography and Filming

Please note that photo and filming may take place during the events. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed under any circumstances, we ask that you let us know prior to arrival so that your request can be accommodated. We would like to point out that in the case of hybrid and online events, video, photo, and sound recordings (also by means of 360-degree cameras) may be carried out at all program points within the framework of the legal regulations and without the separate consent of the persons concerned and participants. Insofar as video, photo, and sound recordings of events are also made, the persons concerned and participants must expect publication beyond the association's boundaries. A declaration of consent is therefore not obtained in these cases. These videos, photos, and sound recordings can also be processed, used, exploited, and published by Journey Into Oneself for reporting purposes, e.g., in picture galleries, newsletters, on websites, and in social media (the list is not exhaustive).

12. Final Provisions

Should any provision of these GTC be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Thailand law applies. The place of jurisdiction, as far as legally permissible, is the location of the Provider.
