Reconnect with what has always been there
In a world full of noise, pressure, and constant doing, it’s easy to forget who we truly are. It is an act of courage, to step away from responsibilities, roles, and expectations — and turn inward.
This Retreat is an invitation to step out of daily rhythm for a few days. Not to escape life — but to return to it with a little more space, clarity and ease.
Through QiGong, TaiJi, meditation, mindful movement and time in nature, we explore the art of doing less while becoming more present.
We release unnecessary tension. We allow the body to settle. We quiet the mind. And we create space to listen.
A return to simplicity
The retreat follows a simple rhythm: practice, rest, nature, nourishment and silence.
There is time for guided practice, but also time for yourself — to walk through the forest, sit quietly, reflect, write, or simply be.
Periods away from screens and constant communication allow us to step back from the noise of everyday life and give our attention somewhere else: here.
The practices are gentle and accessible. No previous experience is required.
Come as you are. Step away for a moment. Find your balance again.
This practice comes as a support to modern life, with all its demands, distractions, and challenges. It is not about escaping everyday life, but about finding ways to meet it with greater awareness and simplicity.
The teaching is simple, direct and grounded in experience. There is space to ask questions, to observe and to discover things for yourself.
This retreat is an opportunity to take some time for yourself, to practice, explore, and reconnect with what is naturally present within you.
Come to practice. Come to listen. And give yourself a few days to go a little deeper.
The Teaching
The WuMa TaiJi lineage carries a rich tradition passed down through generations, descending from Master Ma Jiangbao and transmitted through his close personal disciple (Tudi), Sifu Jürgen Meyer. Rooted in the Wu-style family tradition from Shanghai, this lineage emphasizes precise body alignment, effortlessness, and the internal cultivation of Qi through core principles.
Under the guidance of Shifu Zuan and Team JIO, the teachings offer a direct and structured path—from foundational forms to advanced internal practice—connecting modern practitioners to the deep wisdom and living heritage of the ancestors.
For Shifu Zuan, practice is not about achieving something or becoming someone else. It is about learning to listen again—to the body, to ourselves, and to what is naturally present.
