In a world full of noise, pressure, and constant doing, it’s easy to forget who we truly are.  Here, we step away from responsibilities, roles, and expectations — and turn inward.

Join us on a practice immersion, discover deeper release, receive new impulses, have the time to re-program these new aspects of practice and integrate them with your current life themes.

This retreat is for all students that have already studied the TaiJi Slow Form with us and have developed a regular practice. You will receive personalized corrections and a practice focus for the year ahead. 


Experience the Journey Into Oneself 7 Gate Teaching, which bridges ancient eastern practices to our modern life. 

A practice which connects our TaiJi Form to the way we react and move through life. A practice that opens ourselves to a better life.

This retreat is guided by Master Zuan — headmaster of Shaolin Temple Europe - and his Team JIO.

It is a rare and precious opportunity to learn directly from a true master whose presence, clarity, and compassion leave a lasting imprint on everyone he meets. His team offers care and support with every need that you have. Their presence creates the strong hold of a practice community.

This retreat is open for everyone who has studied TaiJi Slow Form with us and wishes to deepen the fundamental principles beyond the Form.

What the Space Offers


Private Resort

Enjoy a variety of training spaces, accommodation, garden, restaurant, a foyer, a pond, fireplace and multiple spaces to enjoy the nature, to spend time together or be on your own. 

Shared Accommodation

Share a spacious room with a private bath and private balcony with another practitioner. Create lifelong friendships.

Healthy Vegetarian Cuisine for Breakfast and Lunch 

Nourish your body with delicious, wholesome meals. 


How to get there?


The closest airport is Chiang Mai. It can be reached by plane, train or bus from Bankgkok.

From Chiang Mai to Pai:

1. Public Transport (minivans run every hour from Arcade bus station) 

Cost: approx. 150THB. Best be booked in advance, online.

2. Rent your own motorbike from AYA Service. 

Enjoy one of the most beloved roads for motorbike drivers. Your luggage will be sent up by van, you can pick it up once you arrive.

Cost: starting from 200THB. 

3. Hire a private Taxi.

Shifu Zuan


Shifu Zuan’s teachings and commitment are characterized by a deep connection with the traditional Chinese Arts, which he not only practices but also integrates into everyday life.

Shifu Zuan serves as a guide on a path to self-realization and self- discovery. He gives the tools and encourages his students to walk their path independently, to awaken their true power and discover their true nature.



JIO Team


Team JIO


Team JIO are a handful of students who have spent six years or longer in a dedicated practice with Shifu Zuan and have been accepted as his Inner Students. They have been part of an “Assistant Program” for two years and have completed their Instructors Training.

They are building up their own teaching and are invited to take care of private classes, online classes, Team Workshops and Team Retreats in the name of JIO. They take different roles in the organisation and are asked to fulfill tasks based on their skills.

They cultivate the virtues of this teaching and support the ones that join this journey with care and compassion. Guiding by example, from outside in, they are the heart of this teaching.
